Hotel Cyan, Late Afternoon

The light changes color before it changes angle — that’s the thing nobody tells you about late afternoon by the water. Cyan turns toward gold ten minutes before the sun visibly moves.
I’ve started treating travel less like collecting destinations and more like collecting these small, specific “moments of notice.”
Not the postcard version of a place. The version only available if you stay still in it long enough for the light to shift while you’re watching.
This is the seed of something larger I’m building — but for now, it’s just this: gold arriving in cyan, and me, paying attention.
